Mustang Dreams 2 Unveiled

Steven Greenwald, who creates art under the nom de guerre “Frank Martin”, was honored to participate at this year’s 13th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards for the third consecutive year as a featured artist. The two-day event honors outstanding accomplishments in aviation and raises funds for the Kiddie Hawk Foundation. Past Legends include Major General William Anders, Sir Richard Branson, Tom Cruise, Julie E. Clark, Chuck Aaron and Buzz Aldrin. Martin’s contribution at this year’s awards was “Mustang Dreams 2”.

The mixed media painting on canvas incorporates 17 Mustang images as well as sheet metal textures, engine specifications and technical drawings. Frank Martin has spent years cultivating his interest in aviation and its history. Combined with his artistic talents, he has created a collection of works which are each original, relevant and layered with textures, colors and snippets of the history they depict. There are five pieces in the collection, which are featured for sale at The Art of Aircraft.com.
